Right now, our IT Operations team is hunting for a top-notch IT Officer with an appetite for innovation.

What you’ll do:

This position bridges user support and engineering. Operational and project work will be designed to improve the operating efficiency and associated procedures of the department. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the current server environment, maintaining the integrity and security of the systems and associated documentation, and acting as the escalation point for support issues requiring engineering input or expertise.

What you’ll need:

•  Experience in a similar role

•  Understanding of ITIL and best practice security measures

•  Experience with Windows Server systems hardware

•  In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy

•  Experience with SCCM and an understanding of SCOM

•  Ability to create process and system documentation

•  Experience with Data Storage (SAN, NAS)

•  Experience with Windows Desktop & Server OS

•  Experience with Corporate Anti-virus software eg Symantec or McAffee

•  Understanding of Backup software including Avamar

•  Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office Communications Server

•  Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and Genesys

•  Understanding of Virtualization (VMWare, ESX, VDI, Citrix)

It won’t hurt if you have:

•  Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

•  MCP/MCSA/MCSE

•  Certification in VMWare, VDI or virtualization

•  Certification in Voice and VOIP technology (preferably Genesys or Cisco)

•  Tertiary degree qualification in a computer science/engineering discipline
