Business Analyst

Right now we’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Improvement Team. Once you’re part of the team, you’ll play a key role in the collection, contribution, compilation and analysis of data. The work you do will assist with research and evaluation of iiNet projects and proposals.

What you’ll do:

•  Independently take ideas from conception through to implementation  

•  Carry out analysis to better understand customer behaviour and characteristics

•  Formulate recommendations to improve customer retention and tenure

•  Collaborate with other departments, to provide key input for strategic planning

•  Use data and analysis to drive positive change throughout the business

•  Prepare strategic and tactical presentations on all areas of business improvement

•  Produce internal KPI reports on a quarterly, monthly and yearly basis

What you’ll need:

•  Tertiary qualifications in a commercial or quantitative discipline - Finance, Commerce, Engineering or Mathematics.

•  5+ years experience in an analytical role

•  Expert analytical skills with a quantitative bend

•  Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills

•  Strong MS Excel skills

•  Excellent attention to detail

•  Good communication skills

•  An ability to work as part of a team

It won’t hurt if you have:

•  Knowledge of financial analysis and valuations
