What you’ll do:

• Provide a high standard of finance accounting and management reporting, treasury, taxation and analytical services
• Prepare annual consolidated tax return
• Group tax responsibility and compliance, statutory tax and tax effect accounting
• Month end reporting
• Half year and year end statutory reporting
• Hedge accounting
• Cash flow and treasury involvement
• Ensure iiNet’s compliance with all direct and indirect taxation obligations
• Maintenance of internal financial policies and procedures
• Maintenance and audit of internal control procedures
• Mentor and support colleagues

What you’ll need:

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
• Substantial experience in a similar role with a strong focus in tax accounting
• Strong reporting, writing, analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements, financial reporting and standards, consolidations, cash flow management and compliance
• Sound and current knowledge of Australia Taxation law
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

It won’t hurt if you have:

• Experience with Navision accounting software
