Associate Programmer

Right now, our development team is hunting a top-notch Associate Programmer with genuine customer focus and an appetite for innovation.

As the successful applicant, your role will have you working closely with other programmers and stakeholders from all over the business. You will have opportunity to advance your skills by developing our backend provisioning and network software which plays a critical role in the delivery of services to our customers and having them connect to our network.

What you’ll do:

•  Design and develop provisioning and network applications for internal and external customers

•  Consult with a variety of technical professionals and stakeholders

•  Assist with requirements gathering and estimations

•  Investigate bug reports and develop solutions

•  Other duties as required

What you’ll need:

•  Confident and adept in Linux, SQL and Perl

•  Familiarity with project management and SDLC methodologies

•  Ability to communicate effectively across the business

•  Work well within a team

•  Willingness to learn and a can do attitude

It won’t hurt if you have:

•  A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

•  Experience in the IT and Telco industry

•  Commercial experience in a programming role

•  Exposure to C#.NET and VB.NET

•  Exposure to DB2, MySQL, MSSQL
